Once Upon a Time 3x07 Recap

We are back in Storybrooke this week, and get to see what has been happening whilst the others have been in Neverland. Belle delivers the news that Henry has been kidnapped and Rumpel has left her with a cloaking spell as he has warned that other outsiders are coming to the town to look for magic. They cast the spell but not in time, two outsiders have made their way inside.
In Neverland, Rumpel instructs Ariel how to get to Storybrooke and to bring an object back that will defeat pan. He tells her to find Belle, she will know what to do with it. Regina gives Ariel her legs back for 24 hours in order to complete the task and then she will reunite her with Eric.

Pan orders Felix to instruct their friends on the ground (i.e. in Storybrooke to get ready). The two outsiders that have just come in, and have been instructed to make sure Ariel never leaves the town.

Neil tells the gang that the way he got off the island before was via the shadow, Emma, Neil and Hook head out to look for the shadow. Snow warns Emma to be careful with Neil and Hook as they both have feelings for her. On the road Hook praises Neil for being ok about the kiss with Emma, but he drops his foot in it when he realises she has not told Neil about it.

Ariel arrives in Storybrooke and immediately goes to look for Belle, who is down in the dumps as she thinks Rumpel doesn’t need her. Belle receives the message from Rumpel and is overjoyed to find he has found another way to kill Pan and return home. He tells her that she will find the hidden object with the strength of their love. The chipped teacup leads the way to the object, Pandora’s Box. The outsiders storm in tie them up and take the box.

Henry is growing suspicious of Pan, that he is hiding things from him and tries to find out what he is up to. He follows Felix, but it seems clear that they know Henry is following and lay traps for him. He meets Wendy, who claims Pan is keeping her away from the camp as she is sick. She tells him that she is getting sicker because the magic is fading.

Snow is not talking to Charming after his deceit about the poison; Emma doesn’t think it is fair for her to blank him but Snow just ends up disagreeing with her. Snow and Charming argue on the way to Tinkerbell’s house but she tells him that she would live anywhere as long as she had him by her side.

Tensions are running high between the love triangle, Emma thanks Hook for telling them that Neil was alive. She correctly guesses that Pan would have made a deal with the information that Neil was alive, Hook tells her that he chose his friend s rather than being selfish. He tells her that he will win her heart and that she has to choose between him and Neil. He compliments her that he hasn’t seen her fail and so he is certain that she will rescue Henry.

Back with Hook, Emma and Neil, the boys are being petty and trying to get one over on each other, they are ambushed by a load of shadows and Emma uses her magic to light the candle that captures the shadow and in doing so saves both Hook and Neil.
The outsiders are foiled by Belle and Ariel, but they tell them that Pan is keeping their sister prisoner and so they are doing his work in exchange for releasing their sister, Wendy. (the one in the other cage) the girls promise to save her too as well as Henry.

Ariel returns to Neverland with Pandora’s box, Regina keeps her word and gives Ariel her legs. Ariel relays the boy’s message, they must try and save Wendy also.

Emma addresses the elephant in the room, and gives the boys a dressing down over fighting. She tells Hook and Neil she wouldn’t choose either of them she chooses Henry as he is her only true love. They meet up with the others and Tink and they set off to rescue Henry.

Pan’s mind games seem to have worked on Henry and he agrees to try and save magic and go along with Pan. Pan tells him he has to travel to Skull Island to save them all and will require bravery and sacrifice, Henry agrees to take on the challenge.

Final Thoughts:

What will be inside the Skull?

Loving the dynamic Emma/Neil/Hook they are like schoolboys fighting over her.

Will Snow choose to go back to Storybrooke with Emma or stay with Charming? I predict some tearful farewells.

I liked the change from Neverland this week, it was good to have the split even though the more interesting characters are in Neverland.

The Vampire Diaries 5x06 Recap

It was very hard to keep up this week who was on team who. Firstly we have team Silas, Damon, Silas, Jeremy and Elena who are focused on bringing Bonnie back. Then there is team Tessa, Tessa and Stefan who aim to kill Silas. Then there is Team Caroline, Caroline and Katherine band together to try and discover Dr. Maxfield’s secrets.

Katherine is enjoying her second chance, however she finds a patch of grey hair and starts to worry, with no place to go she heads to Whitmore for a place to crash. Caroline reluctantly agrees to let Katherine help her compel Dr Maxfield to forget that Elena and Caroline are vampires in order for them to stay at college.

Damon and Elena are enjoying a tiny moment of peace which is interrupted by a super happy Silas, due to the fact he will die and be reunited with his one true love. Silas promises the gang that he will bring Bonnie back but he needs their help to find the anchor to destroy it so that he does not end up in purgatory. He doesn’t want Elena to come along on the trip so she is left behind whilst Damon and Jeremy head out to New Jersey with him. (Silas is actually quite witty, good character from Julie Plec and co. And well done to Paul Wesley for creating such a difference from Stefan/ripper Stefan)

Stefan wakes up after a heavy night of drinking with Tessa, she is happy because Silas is mortal and she can finally kill him, however he is one step ahead and casts a spell to trap them into the cabin where they are staying. Tessa tells him that Silas will not be able to destroy the anchor once he finds it. (Hmmm... I predicted the outcome of this but more on that later)

Twiddling her thumbs at home Elena calls Stefan and gets through to Tessa who pushes her buttons, Elena storms over to the cabin but also is trapped once she steps inside. Tessa tells Damon to kill Silas and threatens to kill Elena unless he does it by sundown. Elena is upset as she knows Damon will not put her life before anyone else and therefore they cannot bring Bonnie back if Silas is dead.

Katherine and Caroline drain Dr Maxfield of his blood in order to get the vervain out of his system. They learn from him that there is a secret society on Campus that have the Augustein vampire, which is the one the killed Meghan. He tells the girls that Elena was going to be invited to the gathering until they suspected she was a vampire. The test would be that she couldn’t get over the threshold. Handy that it is Katherine then...she goes along to the ball as Elena and bumps into Aaron. Upon eating the feast at the gathering she loses a tooth, adding to her worry, she turns to Dr Maxfield and blackmails him into saving her as she thinks she is dying.

In the storage unit Damon runs into some travellers who tell him that they don’t want Silas dead yet, Damon removes them from the equation and they finally locate the Anchor. The Anchor is Amara, and Silas wakes her up, confused she stabs Silas and drinks his blood saying she doesn’t want to live another day and runs away from him and the voices that are in her head. (I think she can hear the dead on the other side)

At the cabin, Stefan and Tessa are flirting but it is all a rouse he tells Elena he won’t let Tessa hurt her, he stabs her as soon as it is sundown and they escape. Elena thanks Stefan for helping her and is pleased that even without his memories his instinct is to protect her. Tessa is waiting for Stefan and feeling the betrayal from him she acts out her revenge by restoring his painful memories and telling him to remember who it was that saved him from the watery grave.

Finally Damon has a surprise for Elena, something that they have to look after and protect, Amara another doppelganger in the mix.

Final Thoughts:

I cannot wait to see how Amara will differ from the other two.

Why did she stab Silas, did she really love him or is there another twist. I’m hoping that there is and that Silas isn’t her true love i.e. hope for Damon.

How will Stefan feel now that his memories are back.

What is Aaron’s deal, what vital role is he going to play.

Will Silas be able to destroy the Anchor(Amara)?

Hart of Dixie 3x05 Recap

Life is going well for Joel in Bluebell this week his is enjoying himself a lot more and loves that he has ‘a usual’ He is finally settling in which makes Zoe happy until she sees Dash’s blog which tells her that only a small percentage of the town think that Joel is the right man for her, so she sets off on a mission to sell Bluebell on Joel.

Lavon and Lemon team up this week as he asks for help with getting the gazebo ready for a calendar shoot. At first Lemon refuses as it is Belle business but after he begs her to help she agrees, in exchange she wants Lavon to track down Peter (The man from the ball) and prove to the Belles that he existed.

Lynley is back this week and tells George that she will steer clear of him, however at the pub quiz they are forced together and make an exceptional team so they agree to hang out again. However, Wade lets slip that unless George marries Lynley, Lavon will kill him if he hurts her and so he bails on the date.

After an unsuccessful driving lesson, i.e. Joel crashes into the reverend, Zoe offers herself and Joel to run the teen girl camp and in return the reverend will include a bit about Joel in his sermon. Joel refuses to go along with Zoe’s plan as he is afraid of heights and they will be zip-lining. She is forced to confess that they need to do it because of the poll. He is not convinced and she needs another person to help her run the camp. She goes to George for help but tells her that they are not friends and won’t help her.  He finally is persuaded by the reverend to help out so off they set to camp.

At camp when questioned the girls tell Zoe and George that they think George is who Zoe should be with and Zoe finds out about the song that George wrote about her. They argue about why they are not friends anymore because everything that has gone wrong in his life is to do with her. Zoe tells him that everything is not her fault and she misses him as a friend.

Back in town, Dash fills Lynley and Joel in on the George/Zoe story and Lynley figures out that George and the whole town are waiting for George/Zoe to happen. Drunk, Joel decides to show his love for Zoe by going to the camp and being the hero of the story by zip-lining and beating George Tucker.

At the camp Joel and Wade arrive, Joel climbs up to the zip line in order to prove he is the better man, Wade comments to Zoe that everybody has got it wrong that she is in fact still in love with him. The teenage girls are won over by Joel’s act of love and they now approve of Joel and Zoe as a couple. George makes a realisation and apologises to Zoe, he tells her that it isn’t all her fault but they are not quite friends yet.

Lavon has tracked down Peter but Lemon decides not to chase him as it might not be the same if she goes looking for him. Trouble arises when the photographer arrives and Meatball has chained himself to the gazebo, he will only unchain himself if Lemon gives him one last kiss. She obliges and the shot of the pair makes the calendar.

Finally George says sorry to Lynley for bailing on their date, the timing isn’t right for them. She tells him that she is not going to give up until she wears him down.

Final Thoughts:

Lemon and Lavon make such a good couple but they cannot be together now because of AB.

I’m not a fan of Meatball as a character he just needs to disappear I think.

I don’t really get why they are pursuing the George/Lynley idea, she comes across as a bit too young for him.

The Vampire Diaries 5x05 Recap

Everyone this week is coming to terms with Bonnie’s death, Elena is distracting herself by concentrating on finding out what Dr Maxfield is trying to do. Caroline is distracting herself with Tyler and Damon and Jeremy are trying to switch Silas for Bonnie.
Whilst trying to discover Dr Maxfield’s intentions Elena meets a stranger at Meghan’s grave and he informs Elena that he knows that she did not commit suicide, but before she can find out more about Mr mystery he walks off.

Damon is concerned that his girlfriend is avoiding him, and turns up at college to join Elena for the Whitmore Ball. Elena confesses to Damon that she feels guilty for not figuring out that Bonnie was dead all summer whilst she was being happy with Damon. In an effort to please Elena he hatches a plan with Jeremy to trade Silas’ life for Bonnie’s. Bonnie tells Jeremy she will have no part of it but he lies for her.

Silas this week is trying to discover where the anchor is for the other side; he needs to destroy it in order to pass peacefully over. He teams up with Damon in order to switch places with Stefan to trick Ketsia. Ketsia doesn’t know where the anchor is, the travellers have been moving it around for centuries she is looking for her pendant in order to increase her powers. She finds the necklace and she desiccates Silas like she did before.

At the ball Caroline is enjoying Tyler being back until he tells her that he has no intention of staying at college. He informs her that he only came back to say goodbye to her as he wants to go and chase after Klaus to take away all that he holds close. Caroline gives him an ultimatum and he chooses revenge over staying with her.

Dr Maxfield plot thickens he is studying Jesse as a vampire and is also the legal guardian of Aaron (the stranger Elena met earlier at Meghan’s grave) He warns Aaron to stay away from Elena. However, under compulsion he tells her that everyone around him always dies. Something to do with Dr Maxfield I think!

Katherine learns a few lessons this week, she finds out that Silas needs all of her blood to become mortal again so she is on the run with Nadia. Complications arise though when we learn that Nadia is in fact Katherine’s daughter, and has spent centuries trying to find her. Katherine tells Nadia that she came back for her.

With Silas desiccated it puts a spanner in the works for Damon’s plan, he invites Katherine back who is overjoyed to see that she doesn’t have to run anymore, she pleads with Damon to not feed her to Silas, for a brief moment he reconsiders but he does it anyway. However, it is very hard to kill Katherine and she comes back to life.

Final Thoughts:

On the revenge path could it be that Tyler will go to The Originals and hook up with Hayley.

I like the new Stefan not lusting after Elena, although it looks it might be Caroline now.

How is Katherine not dead.

How will they get Bonnie back.

Parenthood 5x06 Recap

This week our family are on the campaign trail for Christina, knocking on doors, however it is not going to plan and people are not listening. The early polls are not looking to good for Christina in the wake of the debate. Her campaign manager encourages her to use her passion for Max in the debate but Christina is having none of it. But at the debate a speaker hits a nerve when she describes her experience with her daughter in the public school system and Christina finds her stride. She tells the women that she won’t fail her daughter if she is elected and she wins the debate.

Jasmine and Crosby are having their differences this week when she asks him to trade in their car for a minivan. At first he is reluctant at his image being taken away but soon comes round to the idea when she picks him up after drinking and he realises he won’t have it any better.

Julia and Joel looked to be following a similar road to last week, he abandons the campaign trail for work. Feeling neglected, when Julia knocks on Eric’s door she does not refuse an invite inside. They bond over their similar lives but share an awkward moment when Eric’s wife returns home. At home Joel had prepared a meal to say sorry for being distracted with work and to thank her for looking after the kids, she instantly feels guilty for her time with Eric. I feel as though this won’t be the end of this storyline.

Amber and her mum are still suffering through turbulent times, they get into another argument and Amber and Ryan decide to elope. She asks Drew to be a witness but he refuses unless Amber involves their mum. Meanwhile Sarah goes to Camille to ask for advice, Camille tells her that when they said she couldn’t marry they lost her for a while so she should support Amber no matter what. Sarah takes this on board and apologises to Amber, and the big wedding is back on trick. I’m glad that Sarah and Amber are back on track I didn’t like them fighting.

Things are not well with Camille and Zeek though, he goes to see the condo and thinking it’s the commodities that Camille wants, builds her a fire pit. Camille realises that although Zeek went to the house viewing he will never be happy and therefore decides to go to Italy for a month with her art class. I predict some Italian romance for her.

Final Thoughts:

I hope after all this that Christina does win the election.

It is good that Amber and her mum are back on track but I do not think this will be the end of it.

Looking forward to the Amber/Ryan wedding.

Hart of Dixie 3x04

Its Halloween in Bluebell and Lemon is desperate for an invitation to the Masquerade Ball after being ousted from the Belles she needs to find a way in. George advises that she calls in her Grandma who has great social standing. But Lemon wants to use that as a last resort, as her Grandma is overly judgey. It is nice to see Lemon and George getting along again.

Wade spends the episode running from Randall, a very large boyfriend of one of Wade’s conquests. Not the only one, as after begging George to take him to the Ball, Wade hooks up with Judge Perkins’ wife. He gets a dressing down from George; he believes that he is only going after unavailable women because the one he wants he cannot have.

Zoe is keen for Joel to make friends in Bluebell but she isn’t keen with his choice, as he thinks Wade is really cool. They go on a trip together to pick up dry ice. Zoe would rather he be friends with Lavon but they are both reluctant to bond with each other. Later, they bond over Game of Thrones and not understanding women and the boys, (Lavon, Joel, Wade) go on a road trip.

Lemon is saved by her Grandma and has bagged herself a date to the ball, on paper he is perfect but in practice, he is insufferable. She is saved from a horrible evening by a handsome stranger, Peter and he instantly charms her. He seems just as besotted with her and even offers to take on her Grandma. They leave the party and continue on for a drink, they chat and flirt and he asks her to stay the night with him. She wakes to breakfast left for her and he misses his flight in order to spend a couple more hours with her. I hope there is more Robert Buckley and this isn’t just a fleeting visit, he seems perfect for Lemon he has given her sparkle back.

Lavon is planning a surprise for AB for the anniversary of their first date, and AB confesses to Zoe that she thinks he may propose. Whilst under a routine check up Zoe finds a lump on AB’s ovaries and they travel to Mobil for tests. They are inconclusive and Anabeth worries that she will not be able to have children. I am loving the AB/Zoe time this week it has been missing from the season so far. AB is trying to distract Lavon to stop him from proposing until she has the all clear, so she enlists Zoe’s help. AB discovers that her surprise was a horror film and is not impressed. She however get the all clear.

Final Thoughts:

I like that the boys are going to have a gang, interesting to see the Joel/Wade relationship

Lemon has had a good week it was nice for her

I liked the AB storyline, now she just needs to be pregnant

I don’t think we have seen the last of Robert Buckley

Once Upon a Time 3x05 Recap

We are still in Neverland and Henry is feeling more and more like a lost boy, the gang realise that this is going to be the case and set about trying to get a message to him. They hope to trick one of the lost boys and use him to give Henry a message that they are coming to rescue him.

This week it is all about Hook and we see a little into his past with his brother. He is flirting diabolically with Emma, but she is having none of it and even David/Charming warns him off his daughter. In his past we see Hook as Lieutenant Jones, with his brother the Captain setting off on a quest for the king to Neverland in order to retrieve ‘the world’s greatest medicine’ (I.e. Dreamshade) of course we as the audience know that it is in fact deadly. Upon arrival they run into Peter Pan who informs them of this, Hook’s brother does not believe this to be the case and they carry on with their quest.

In present day, David/Charming is succumbing to the poison of the Dreamshade, Hook tricks him into believing there is a sexton at the top of dead man’s peak that will decipher Neil’s star map and they set off together with David/Charming saying his goodbyes to the girls unknowingly to them. He also acknowledges that Hook is only here to save Henry for Emma. They bond on their journey as Hook tells David/Charming of his brother. Pan offers Hook a deal that if he comes back to work for him he will give him and Emma passage off the island, at a price...he has to kill David/Charming.

The girls are focused on getting Henry the message, the lost boy they capture is not willing to give it easily and so they are resorted to using Regina. She takes the boys heart in order to control him and gives him a mirror that will be able to show them Henry. Mary Margaret/Snow white is upset that Emma has allowed Regina to do this. But Regina argues that she is there to make the tough decisions and Emma is still good at heart.

Back in the past, Hook is convinced that Pan is telling the truth about the Dreamshade but his brother does not believe that the king would betray him like that as it could be used as a deadly weapon. In order to prove this to his brother he cuts himself and dies. Hook is undoubtedly distraught and asks Pan for help. The only cure is to drink the spring water he tells Hook, but there is always a balance with magic. As soon as Hook and his brother leave Neverland his brother dies, the magic only lasts on the island.

Hook’s brother dies as soon as he leaves the island. Hook offers David/Charming the deal, that if he drinks the water he can never leave Neverland. He asks why Hook would risk it for it, he said he didn't do it for David (i.e. Emma)
Back in the present, Hook offers David/Charming the same choice he can drink from the water and live but he can never leave the island, or die. He chooses the first option and they return to the girls, David/Charming tells them about how Hook saved his life, but not the truth. Emma thanks Hook and they kiss, however she tells him that it will be a one time thing.

Hook buries his brother at sea, and becomes captain. Hook destroys the Pegasus sail so that no one can fly back to Neverland and starts the rebellion against the king by becoming a pirate and renames the boat The Jolly Roger.
In the end Pan tells Hook that Neil is still alive and is on the island. He leaves it up to Hook to either tell Emma or not.

Final Thoughts:
Who is in the other cage with Neil
Everyone drank from the rum bottle Pan gave Hook, except Regina. I expect this may become significant.

There are so many different story avenues it just keeps getting better.

How will Snow White cope with Charming having to stay in Neverland

Where is Rumple?

Will Hook tell Emma about Neil? I’m really enjoying the relationship blossoming between Hook and Emma but Neil is her soul mate so I don’t know whether I want him to tell her or not.

Parenthood 5x05 Recap

This week in the world of my favourite TV family, Adam and Crosby are having differences over the luncheonette’s label, Julia and Joel are fighting over Pete, Sarah and Ryan have a heart to heart, Christina struggles with Max and Zeek and Camille are becoming more distant.

We begin the episode at the Luncheonette Adam has gained the rights to the Ashes of Rome songs from their previous label but it came at a price, giving away Crosby’s studio time. Crosby isn’t happy about this but goes along with his brother’s plan. However, he struggles with the insufferable lead singer and after fighting with Adam, gives up on them. Until after a chance meeting with Joel he listens to some classic albums and convinces the band that a stripped back version of their songs would be better.

Max encounters problems this week at school; he has been chosen to take pictures for the school’s year book. Under instruction by Hank he has been taking ‘real’ pictures and captures a girl crying. After a parent outcry, the school decide to move Max to another department, Christina is not happy by this as she saw how good the picture was. The school however will not budge and Christina is forced to tell Max he is off the yearbook. I think that Autism is going to become a high priority if Christina becomes Mayor.

Sarah’s tenant toilet breaks and so she asks Joel to fix it, he sends over Ryan and it becomes quickly apparent that Amber hasn’t told Ryan about the fight with her mum. Ryan argues with Amber about why she didn’t tell him and at the end of the episode goes to Sarah to explain why his family will not be attending the wedding. He gives her a long speech and tells her he wants to be worthy enough to be a Braverman. Sarah’s tenant randomly keeps appearing, I am waiting for the inevitable relationship to start blossoming.

Julia and Joel are reaching breaking point over Pete, she is asking Joel to constantly change the design of the build and Julia asks him to confront her. They go to dinner to discuss boundaries and Joel gets drunk, this leads to Julia and Joel coming to blows when she says Pete is taking advantage of him. I think that this won’t be the last we see of the fights between these two but I hope they don’t break up as they are my favourite couple.

Meanwhile, Zeek and Camille are having difficulties, Camille wants to sell the house, Zeek does not. Camille confides in Julia that she has lost her voice in the relationship and she later relays this to Zeek. In echoes of her own situation she cries and tells him to listen to her mum as she is his wife.

Final Thoughts:

I am worried for Camille and Zeek I hope they don’t separate but I see it is starting to head that way

I miss Haddie, no mentions of her, maybe she will come back for the wedding.

Sarah needs something in her life, I feel her story is a bit dull at the moment

I am growing towards Ryan, I really didn’t like him after the last season, but the proposal was really cute and as was the scene in this episode with Sarah.

The Vampire Diaries 5x04 Recap

The main aim this week is get Stefan’s memories back. Damon has the ‘Damon way’ of doing things by taking his brother out in his car and getting him drunk. Whilst Elena tries to take him down memory lane with her, by revisiting important moments in their history. There is a nice moment between the brothers when Stefan states that he is the fun brother and Damon is the safe one. Both Elena and Damon however, are trying to avoid releasing the ripper.

It is Remembrance Day in Mystic Falls and time for a home visit for Caroline, who has been away at college playing detective. She brings Jesse home with her, a move which leads to him questioning Caroline’s motives and they share a kiss.

At the bar trying to regain his memories Stefan shares that although they keep telling him he is a monster he thinks now he has no memories he will be ok with his ripper side. Elena arrives and is put out that Damon hasn’t told Stefan about her, he argues that there is two hundred years to catch up on first.

Matt meanwhile, is still struggling with his blackouts and decides to film himself so that he can see what happens. He watches the footage back and sees Gregor, he faces the camera and tells Matt that some people will come looking for a blade and that he must protect it at all costs.

Elena takes Stefan back to high school where they met, and to the bridge, basically giving him a tour of their relationship. They are very flirty and Stefan guesses that they were together once upon a time and tells her he feels better when he is with her, the hunger to feed is gone. She confesses that she fell out of love with him when she became a vampire. They almost kiss but Stefan is shocked to learn that she is with Damon and goes off the rails.
Stefan has gone to the party and got horrendously drunk; he runs into Caroline and tells her that she is hotter in person. He gives her the slip in order to chase after Jesse; he attacks him saying why should he be good when he has lost everything.

Caroline intervenes and saves Jesse by feeding him her blood. Stefan goes back to the house and burns all of his journals he doesn’t want to be the Stefan from them and decides he doesn’t want anything to do with Damon and Elena, only Caroline. This is a good move; I like this storyline a Stefan not pining for Elena is interesting and I want to see the relationship with Caroline develop and Elena’s jealousy.

This is finally the episode where everyone finds out about Bonnie, Jeremy is struggling with keeping the secret as everyone needs something from Bonnie. He confides in Damon that she is dead, and Damon is instantly concerned for Elena’s wellbeing. (There is a cute moment between Damon and Jeremy when they hug and Damon shows he truly cared for Bonnie) Damon decides it is best that he tells Elena whilst Jeremy tells Matt. Caroline seeks comfort in Stefan and piles all of her troubles onto him. The gang hold a memorial service for Bonnie and grieve for her; she is watching over them and sends them each messages through Jeremy. Tyler makes a return after hearing the news to be there for Caroline.

Back at college for the cliff-hanger Jesse is being studied by Professor he discovers that Jesse has vampire blood in his system and kills him in order to turn him into a vampire. I wonder what the professor wants to achieve from this?

Final Thoughts:

I’m glad now everyone knows about Bonnie, it will be good to see how the gang cope without running to her first with every problem they have. How are they going to solve future crises without the use of magic?

This episode was a good return to the roots of the vampire diaries, I feel that the professor is a more sinister villain than Silas. Although it seems weird that there was no mention of it in this episode they seem to have forgotten about Katherine.

The funeral scene was nice, I liked the surprise that Tyler showed up and Damon in a suit is always a treat.

Caroline has a lot on her plate now and she has many options Tyler, Stefan, Jesse and not forgetting that Klaus could appear at any moment. I am definitely a Klaroline shipper but as his only friend I am looking forward to seeing the Caroline/Stefan relationship as it was starting to get good last season.

Hart of Dixie 3x03 Recap

This was a bit of a filler episode I feel as we didn’t really make any progress. The main premise is that Zoe wants to get back to work, However Brick is not budging. Joel suggests that she opens her own practice but all Zoe wants is to be back in with Brick. This begins the awkwardness of the episode whereby tensions are high between Zoe and Joel.

By accident Joel lets slip to Brick that Zoe might open her own practice, she is furious with him. Brick is fuming and it leads to a heated argument by which Zoe exclaims that she will open her own practice. To which George Tucker announces that it is in her contract to not practice within 20 miles of Bluebell or she has to pay $350,000.

Meanwhile Lavon is trying to get a minor league baseball team to build their stadium in Bluebell. The owner is Cam Lynch who happened to go to college with Brick. He begrudgingly agrees to help Lavon; however Cam is very interested in Brick. Brick doesn’t like the attention and is called away to an emergency.

George is struggling with tutoring Lynley as she will not give up flirting with him, it comes to a head when George tries to help her zip up her dress and gets his hand stuck. Caught in an uncomfortable situation the only person George can call is Zoe. They finally have a chance to talk about her leaving and George tells her that it might have hit Brick harder than she thought.

Lemon is ruffling a few feathers in the belles, she forms a resistance to Crickets leadership, but she is discovered by Cricket and is made to clean the town as punishment. After completing all the humiliating tasks, Lemon along with Anabeth quit the belles.

Joel is down in the dumps over Zoe and heads to the Rammer Jammer, Wade recognises that depressed look on his face and takes pity on him. They need to keep Brick from finding Zoe so they hatch a plan to keep him distracted this involves Wade punching Joel in the stomach (I bet he enjoyed it) They bond, Wade even has a cute nickname for him ‘Shakespeare’
Brick tells Zoe that his world fell apart because Shelby left, Magnolia left and then with Zoe leaving he had double the work load. He offers Zoe her job back but not as a partner as someone who can work their way up.

We finish off as usual in the Rammer Jammer and Wade tells Zoe to take it easy on Joel and she is touched that he got punched for her.

Final Thoughts:
My favourite line from Zoe to Wade ‘How is it you drink so much and yet forget so little

Not too excited about this episode not much happened although it showed tensions brewing very easily between Zoe and Joel.

I’m glad that Lemon and Anabeth have quit the Belles that stuff bores me

Very very excited for Robert Buckley next week

The Vampire Diaries 5x03

Elena has been having restless nights dreaming of Stefan as the ripper and he doesn’t have his daylight ring. Trouble is Elena and Katherine are having the same dreams as part of the ‘Doppelganger curse’ Elena and Katherine are sparring off with each other and Damon is playing mediator. I like Katherine as a human she much better with her humanity.

The traveller, Nadia, is now being Silas’ puppet and is instructed to kill Matt. Matt has been possessed by Gregor, the traveller she needed to gain Silas’ trust by killing him but aims to restore Gregor in Matt’s body. Matt arrives home and can’t remember ringing Elena and he has mud all over his shoes.

Stefan has been saved by a stranger, she knows all about Silas. She tells him a story that she is Silas’ one true love (a traveller) and he wanted Ketsia to make an elixir to make them immortal. Complete 180 and it turns out she is ketsia and came through from the other side when Bonnie dropped the veil. Ketsia (Tessa – for the modern world) was due to marry Silas and made the immortality spell for the wedding ceremony but he took the spell before with someone else, Amara (The first Petrova doppelganger I assume as she looks identical to Elena). Betrayed she offered Silas a second chance to take the cure. He refused and killed Amara by giving her the cure. Ketsia created the other side so that Silas would be stuck there instead of in peace with Amara. Ketsia asks for Stefan in helping to take down Silas he agrees.

On the road to try and find Stefan, Katherine is trying to wind up Elena and Damon, by saying she should not be dreaming about Stefan. However, Elena is having none of it and argues why should they keep Katherine around, Damon tells her he intends to keep her as leverage because Silas wants her. When they reach the bar they were looking for they run into Nadia and Elena chases after her. There is a cute Damon/Elena moment when he tells her to be careful as Katherine is not worth the hair on Elena’s head. In the woods Katherine asks Elena why she hasn’t killed her, Elena replies that it is what is left of her humanity. However Katherine is captured by Nadia.

Ketsia seems a bit of a psycho and she had planted the dreams in the girls head to lead them to where Stefan was but she was expecting Katherine as well as Damon. Ketsia aims to link Stefan to Silas in order to weaken his mental state and his mind control. She manages this and in doing so saves Nadia’s life as she was under his mind control to kill herself. Ketsia tells Damon that he has no chance for a happy ending as she has sat on the other side and watched over the century the doppelgangers search for each other and find each other. (i.e. Stefan and Elena are destined for each other)

Silas realises Ketsia is around after she fried his brain and tells Katherine that the cure is running through her veins. Maybe there is a possibility that everyone can be cured.

Damon tells Elena, that they are a lost cause and that the universe is programmed to make doppelgangers fall in love with each other. But he gives a big romantic speech that he loves her. I am loving these speeches there is about one an episode at the minute.

For the final cliff-hanger Stefan wakes up and has complete memory loss he has no idea who Elena and Damon are, handy as he has forgotten all about his love for her. The show just keeps throwing curveballs.

Final Thoughts:
Forgot Stefan did not know anything about Katherine taking the cure Etc.

How will the memory loss affect Elena, will she be hurt he has forgotten her

What’s going on at college? Abandoned the professor storyline

I like Ketsia she seems bad ass.
